Celebrations of the Day of the establishment of the indent Czechoslovakia with the participation of the President of the Judicial Council
On Monday, October 28, 2024, it has been 106 years since the establishment of the first Czechoslovak Republic. The first independent state of the Czechs and the Slovaks was established on October 28, 1918.
On this occasion, the President of the Judicial Council, Marcela Kosová, accepted the invitation of H.E. Rudolf Jindrák, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Slovakia to this ceremonial event. Together with leading constitutional officials headed by the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, she commemorated this important milestone in the history of Czechoslovakia.
The President of the Judicial Council considers it extremely important to maintain and support friendly and partner relations between the two states, which share a common history. "Friendly relations between Czechs and Slovaks are for many of us commonplace natural thing, and we cannot even imagine that it should ever be otherwise. Not even the state border between us did not change anything and I'm glad that's the case. Like many Slovaks, I also have relatives and many friends in the Czech Republic", concluded Marcela Kosová.
