Sessions of the Judicial Council are already available in automated transcription
The Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic under the leadership of President Marcela Kosova is trying to be closer to the professional and lay public. Therefore the launch of the new service has been in preparation for several weeks. It is an automated transcription of audio recordings from sessions of the Judicial Council. The Office of the Judicial Council tried this service for the first time in practice during the November session. It is a practical aid thanks to which the interested party can easily search for the point of interest and read the content of the discussion of this point in written form.
For the first time in the history of the Judicial Council, these transcripts are now available on the official website of the Judicial Council. They monitor all the points of the last session of the year. "Since May of this year, we have succeeded in taking several positive steps, either in favor of justice or transparency. Automated transcription of audio recordings of Judicial Council sessions is one of them. From the beginning, the effort was to have the transcript of each point published separately, which significantly improves orientation for that part of the judges and the public who are interested in getting to know only a specific point. I am glad that this intention was achieved even in a relatively short time of a few weeks, from the creation of the idea to its implementation", adds Marcela Kosová, President of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic.
From now on, the automated transcriptions of audio recordings will be part of the material that the Office of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic publishes on its website after each session. They are divided separately after each discussed point. It is a simple and clear way for the public to become more familiar with what interests them. The content of the material of each point of the meeting once again includes a transcript of the audio recording, which is published as the first of all available materials for better clarity. The public can therefore find it very easily on the website of the Judicial Council.
