The announcement of the election of members of the disciplinary chambers of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic
The President of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic, Marcela Kosová, announced on November 10, 2025, the election of members of the disciplinary chambers of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic.
The election was announced based on § 47b(1) of Act No. 432/2021 Coll. on the Disciplinary Rules of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic (Disciplinary Court Rules), and with reference to § 27a(3) in conjunction with § 27fb(3) of Act No. 185/2002 Coll. on the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts (hereinafter referred to as the “Judicial Council Act”).
The announcement of the election follows the adoption of Act No. 270/2025 Coll., which amends and supplements Act No. 385/2000 Coll. on Judges and Lay judges and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts, as amended, and which amends certain other laws. The Act mentioned above imposes on the Judicial Council the obligation to elect the first members of the disciplinary chambers by January 31, 2026.
The election will take place on January 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the seat of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic.
Eligible proposers pursuant to §27fb(1) of the Judicial Council Act may submit candidate proposals for members of the disciplinary chambers by December 15, 2025.
