The election of one member of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic elected by judges in the Western-Slovak electoral district
The President of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic, Marcela Kosová, announced on January 21, 2026, pursuant to Article 141a, Paragraph 2, letter b) of the Constitution of the Slovak Republic and Section 17, Paragraph 1 of Act No. 185/2002 Coll. on the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic and on Amendment and Supplement of Certain Acts (hereinafter referred to as the „Judicial Council Act“), the election of one member of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic elected by judges in the Western-Slovak electoral district, to be held on March 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m..
The President of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic announced the election following the termination of the function of a member of the Judicial Council, Dana Jelinková Dudzíková, in accordance with Section 26, Paragraph 1, letter b) of the Judicial Council Act.
Authorized proposers according to Section 11, Paragraph 2, letters b), c), d) of the Judicial Council Act shall submit their candidate proposals for a member of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic to the President of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic by February 11, 2026, by 13:00. Proposals submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
