The judges of the Central Slovak electoral district will elect a new member of the Judicial Council
The Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic has 18 members, but currently holds its sessions in an incomplete composition. By now the Judical Council still lacks two members elected by the National Council of the Slovak Republic. As of September 1 of this year, another position of a member of the judicial council elected by the judges became vacant. Ján Gandžala, a member of the Judicial Council from November 30, 2021, has his performance as a judge been interrupted since September 1 of this year. The judges of the Central Slovak electoral district are therefore awaiting the election of a new member of the Judicial Council, which will be announced by the President of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic on September 4, 2024.
