The Judicial Council will elect a new Vice-President of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic
The current Vice President, Andrea Moravčíková, will end her term on October 8, 2025. For this reason, Judicial Council President Marcela Kosová announced the election of a candidate for this position at the beginning of June. Only one proposal was submitted by the authorised entities within the deadline. It is the proposal of František Mozner, President of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic. His nominee, Branislav Král, will present himself to the Judicial Council in the election to be held on September 16, 2025. He was appointed judge in 2008 and transferred to the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic on March 1, 2025. The election of the new Vice President of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic will take place on September 16, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the official seat of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic.
