The President of the Judicial Council met with representatives of the Slovak Bar Association

On June 25, 2025, Marcela Kosová, President of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic, welcomed the newly elected representatives of the Slovak Bar Association at the Judicial Council's premises. They discussed with the President of the Slovak Bar Association, Tomáš Kamenec, Vice-President Alexandra Čižmáriková, and Vice-President Stanislav Ďurica ways of deepening cooperation between the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Bar Association in the areas of education and ethics in both legal professions.

All those present agreed that mutual communication between lawyers and judges, within the framework of ethical rules, can contribute to improving the legislative environment, application practice, and the rule of law. Mutual respect also has the potential to increase public confidence in a functioning and fair judicial environment.
