The President of the Slovak Republic appointed Professor Tomáš Gábriš as a member of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic

On 23rd November 2023, the President of the Slovak Republic Ms. Zuzana Čaputová appointed Mr. Tomáš Gábriš as a member of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic. With effect from 24th November 2023 he will replace a long-time member Ms. Elena Berthotyová, who resigned at the beginning of November 2023.
 
Mr. Tomáš Gábriš is a professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trnava and also works at the Institute of State and Law of the Slovak Academy. His main focus is legal history and legal methodology. At the same time, he also works as a lawyer. The first meeting of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic, which he should attend as a member, will be held on from 12th to 14th December this year.
