The statement of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic on the attempt to assassinate Slovak Prime Minister

The Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic strongly condemns the brutal attack on the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic. This violent attack is also an attack on the constitutional establishment of the Slovak Republic as a democratic and legal state and on all citizens of the Slovak Republic. The Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic condemns the polarisation of society on the basis of other opinions, other ideas and other attitudes, as well as the spreading of hatred among people. Human life and health is the most important value of any society, irrespective of the political and social beliefs and mindsets of its citizens. Let this moment be a memento of mutual respect, tolerance and tolerance among all citizens of the Slovak Republic. The Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic wishes Prime Minister Robert Fico a speedy recovery.
