Asset declarations of Slovak judges have been published on Council´s website

As of today, the official website of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic publishes the asset declarations of judges for the year 2023. The obligation to submit an asset declaration for the previous year by the end of March this year was imposed on all those who performed the function of a judge last year. By the end of the deadline, the Office of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic had received as many as 1,407 declarations, although the total number of active judges is 1,336. Thus, the number of asset declarations sent is higher than the number of active Slovak judges. The reason for this is the fact that some judges who have ceased to be judges during the year or have had their judicial duties suspended have also fulfilled their obligation. Asset declarations were accepted only in electronic form as previous two years.
