International Judicial Football Tournament
The Judicial football tournament is an event with almost thirty years of history, organised on an international platform, currently with the participation of judges from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria. It is an opportunity for mutual exchange of knowledge and experience also in the field of the functioning of the judicial systems in the individual countries, but above all it is an opportunity for informal meeting in a pleasant environment and friendly atmosphere.
The tournament is organised each year by one of the participants. This year it was the Slovak side. Marcela Kosova, the President of the Judicial Council, and Ayşe Pružinec Eren, the Vice-President of the Judicial Council, were invited. Boris Tóth, the President of the Regional Court in Bratislava, Ján Sváček, the Vice-President of the High Court in Prague, Petr Beneš, the President Emeritus of the Municipal Court in Prague, and Fridrich Forsthuber, the President of the Regional Court in Vienna, were present at the event. Boris Susko, the Minister of Justice of the Slovak Republic, also attended the announcement of the final results. "I am very glad that I could be part of the friendly competition between the best football players among the judges and the best judges among the football players. The gentlemen on the field fought with full commitment and mutual respect and the evening was also in the spirit of fair play", Marcela Kosová said with a smile.
