The Judicial Council welcomed curious pupils even in the last month of this year

Pupils once again visited the premises of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic. In the meeting room, eighth and ninth graders from Kysucká Elementary School in Senec learned many details about the history of the Vice Governor's Palace, the seat of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic and its Office. They were introduced to the roles and functions of the Judicial Council, as well as the work and position of judges.

“I am always very pleased to see the meeting room of the Judicial Council filled with curious students or pupils. Perhaps, in the future, one of them will regularly sit in this room and vote”, said the President of the Judicial Council, Marcela Kosová.

As part of the tour of the Vice Governor's Palace, the pupils had the opportunity to try on judge´s robes and take on the roles of defense lawyers, defendants, and judges, as a simulated court hearing is always part of the excursion.

The Office of the Judicial Council provides a simple form on its website to register for an excursion. "One of these pleasant visits has been captured in the form of a short video, which can serve as an invitation for those who have not yet decided to visit us. Interest is growing, which is great," concluded Marcela Kosová.
