The new Minister of Justice of the Slovak Republic Ms. Jana Dubovcová attended the 5th session of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic 24 hours after she was appointed to the post. The program of the Coucil´s session included material from former MoJ Mr. Viliam Karas on human resources in the judiciary. The new MoJ considers human resources and their stabilization in the judiciary to be one of the basic starting points for improving the performance of judicial power. She therefore signed up to the presented material, but at the same time she pointed out that with the current need to save budget resources, it will be difficult to achieve this strategic goal. The Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic took note of the submitted material as well as the statement of MoJ Ms. Jana Dubovcová.
